The Székely Manor in Colțești-Rimetea was born from the desire to offer not just accommodation, but also a gateway to the rich tradition and culture of the region beneath the Trascău Mountains.
Every corner reflects the history and refinement of the Székely style, offering a special retreat where tradition meets elegance.
Our restaurant offers a rich culinary experience, based on traditional dishes made from local products where guests can savor authentic Transylvanian food and desserts.

Authentic Székely tradition
Every detail of the manor preserves the authentic spirit of the villages of Rimetea and Colțești — from the handmade furniture and traditional architecture, to the warm hospitality and attire inspired by Székely culture. Here, tradition is not just decoration, but a lived experience.
Local cuisine made with soul
Our dishes are made following traditional Romanian and Hungarian recipes, using local ingredients and products prepared by our own family. From hearth-baked potato bread to artisanal cheeses and pantry delicacies, each taste tells an authentic Transylvanian story.

Situated at the foot of Piatra Secuiului, Conacul Secuiesc offers an impressive panorama of the Trascău Mountains, where the tranquility of nature and the beauty of the landscape create an atmosphere of relaxation and authentic refuge. Each sunrise and sunset completes the experience of a memorable stay in the heart of Transylvania.
We support local producers
We use seasonal vegetables and ingredients from small local producers in the village. What's local is best!
Clean energy, with care for nature
From our love for nature, we have invested in green energy by installing 210 kW of solar panels. This initiative allows us to cover a large part of our energy needs in an environmentally friendly way, supporting environmental protection and sustainability.

The cooks are from our community, with us since we opened. We thank them daily for the "home-style" taste.
Our cheeses
Fresh, flavorful, and handcrafted, they are produced at the De Colțești – Torockoi factory. Whether we're cooking at the manor or preparing cheeses at the factory, we are at home and do everything with love for our guests.
